Samartex Company Make Donations To Media and Security Agencies In Amenfi West
The managing Director of Samartex Timber and Plywood company limited in Samre Aboi, Mr Richard Nsenkyire Kwaku Duah has donated nose masks, Sanitizers, Liquid soaps and undisclosed Amount of money to the security Agencies and the media houses in Wassa Amenfi west municipality.
According to him, the management of Samartex Timber and Plywood company limited saw that the security Agencies are risking their lives to protect people from contacting the Covid-19, although Government is doing it best but there is a need for other institutions to also motivate the security personnel’s.
Mr. Nsenkyire also urged the media houses to use the money given to them as a token for the reporters who usually goes out for reporting and educations.
Receiving the items, Chairman for municipal security council Hon. George Agyiri appreciated the good work Samartex company is doing for wassaman and promised his support for the company so long as he remains the MCE for wassa Amenfi west municipality.
Hon . Agyiri later charged other NGOs, Institutions and philanthropist to support the security council and the media houses for them to work efficiently and diligently for wassa Amenfi west.
Later, the Divisional police commander for Asankrangwa Division, Chief Superintendent Nana Kumi who represented the police told the media that Samartex is the first institution coming to the aid of police since the outbreak of Coronavirus and urged other institutions, NGOs and other organizations to support them.
